MIT uses a hacked Xbox Kinect sensor to create a shapeshifting display. With it, you can "reach in" and interact with objects anywhere in the world!

Created by Daniel Leithinger and Sean Follmer and overseen by Professor Hiroshi Ishii, uses a technology called inFORM. I'm sure you've all seen one those metal pinscreens before, usually on someones office desk. inForm is essentially one of those pinscreens motor controlled by a laptop that reacts to your actions using the Microsoft Kinect.
